Lujiazui (陆家嘴, Lùjiāzuǐ) is the point of land inside the bend of the Huangpu River, directly across from the Bund. Its towers are what you see from the Bund promenade, and from up here the Bund is what you see.
The towers
The three tallest stand side by side: the Shanghai Tower with its twisting glass skin, the Shanghai World Financial Center with the opening at its top, and the Jin Mao Tower, whose stepped form is drawn from pagodas. Closer to the river is the Oriental Pearl Tower, the broadcast tower with spheres on its shaft.
You can go up most of them, but not all: check each place page before you buy a ticket. One clear-weather visit to one deck is enough for most people.
Getting around
The Lujiazui Ring Pedestrian Bridge carries you over the main roads between the towers, the metro station and the Shanghai Ocean Aquarium. To reach the Bund, take Line 2 one stop to East Nanjing Road.
